Great Sources of Protein

high-protein-dietOne of the things I have to change is that I have to incorporate a source of high protein at every meal. Protein is a great way to make you feel full and this is a requirement of anyone having gastric bypass surgery afterwards. So to get my mind and body ready for these big changes I have been working hard to incoporate a high protein item in every meal. Below are some fresh healthy items for getting your protein in.

Meats: (Choose Lean Portions)

  • beef

  • ham

  • rabbit

  • venison

  • liver

  • giblets


Poultry:

  • chicken

  • turkey

  • duck

  • goose


Eggs

Beans and Peas:
